With curiosity for the unknown, the little Gumis stepped into the gates of the Nanshan District Garbage Classification Science Museum. Upon entering, they were immediately attracted by the colorful garbage classification knowledge wall. Visiting the garbage classification science museum was a unique experience. Through observing physical objects, listening to explanations, and participating in interactive activities, they gained a more intuitive understanding of the processes and methods of garbage classification. The children were filled with curiosity about the exhibits and models in the museum, actively participating in the interactive sessions.
The children watched science-themed short films, witnessing the entire process of garbage being sorted, compressed, and processed. They deeply understood the importance and practicality of garbage classification. Garbage reduction is the fundamental approach, with the effective 3R principle: reduce production, make full use, and recycle. Not buying toys is reducing garbage at the source, and actions like clearing one's plate and eco-friendly commuting are everyday ways to reduce garbage production. The children eagerly nodded in agreement, all vying to say that they would persist with clearing their plates when they go back!
The He Xiangning Art Museum is China's first national-level art museum named after an individual, mainly collecting artistic works and literature created by painter He Xiangning over a span of more than 60 years. Led by their teachers, the children visited the museum, eagerly listening to the teacher's introduction of each artwork. The children carefully appreciated the various works; the exquisite pieces deeply captivated them, causing them to stop in their tracks and immerse themselves in the world of art.
A good exhibition subtly nurtures children's artistic appreciation. Taking children to view exhibitions is merely to expose them to an artistic atmosphere. We hope that they can create their own unique aesthetic style in future life. This perception and appreciation of beauty, observing the bougainvillea trees, with one child picking up fallen bougainvillea flowers, triggered a butterfly effect—more and more children joined in picking up the flowers, collecting them in bags, and bringing them back to the kindergarten to make crafts. It was truly a memorable practice.
The Nanshan Safety Education Experience Museum is a unique themed experience venue, cleverly integrating safety education, scientific knowledge, and entertainment elements. In the 4D experience center, we underwent a thrilling cinema journey, with various sensory stimuli such as vibration, rotation, and jumping, making us feel as if we were immersed in the world of the film. Upon entering the traffic rules and safety knowledge area, through simulating zebra crossings and traffic accident scenarios, the children experienced the dreadful consequences of running red lights, enhancing their awareness of road safety.
Through simulating fire scene experiences, we not only learned correct escape techniques but also further strengthened our safety awareness and self-protection abilities. What should we do if a school bus suddenly malfunctions or encounters danger while riding? Of course, we should use a safety hammer to break the window for self-rescue or seize the right moment to safely escape through the window.
In the relaxed and fun atmosphere of this visit, valuable opportunities were provided for the children to learn scientific safety knowledge, cultivate safety awareness, and acquire protective skills. The activities were rich in content and meaningful, making every child not only recognize the importance of safety but also cherish and protect their own lives even more.
