The EAD area in the EYFS framework is one of the seven areas of development for the Little Gumi. In this area, we focus on cultivating the Little Gumi's ability to explore and use media, materials, and imagination. Through their brushes, the prospective graduates use rich colours, bold imagination, and unique perspectives to depict a world full of childlike joy and record their growth in kindergarten.
A group of the Little Gumi created this artistic exhibition with their hands, presenting their flying thoughts and vague reveries in the works between brush and ink, including ink painting, material re-creation, unique clothing design, clay moulding, etc. In the last semester of kindergarten, they had their aesthetic creation.
The preparation process for the art exhibition is a process of connecting with the world for the Little Gumi and revealing their inner selves. The teachers and the Little Gumi are immersed in the world of art together and believe that this pre-graduation "art carnival" will become the most beautiful memory on the road to growth for the Little Gumi. The heart is where it belongs; this summer is profound and meaningful.
When art meets creativity, when colour meets tradition, the brush tip flows with colourful and unrestrained imagination, which is the way of understanding and expressing the spiritual culture of the Little Gumi. Most of their works are created using discarded materials, which embodies the concept of environmental protection. They freely express themselves and depict their colourful inner world from different perspectives.
The works are a perfect fusion of art and creativity. Parents exclaimed, "A fruitful harvest and fantastic ideas", as each piece of work depicted the unique understanding of art by the Little Gumi, leaving parents in awe. The exhibition site became a popular online spot for check-ins, and the entire exhibition was filled with the enthusiasm and beauty of summer.
The "Nth Power of Art" represents the infinite creativity and possibilities of the Little Gumi. They are not bound by tradition or limited by techniques and freely express their inner emotions. Every child is an innate artist who observes time from a unique perspective and artistically expresses themselves. Every piece of work here is full of their efforts and enthusiasm.
