In the seven areas of EYFS, understanding the world is to provide children with rich opportunities for exploration. Planting is agood activity for children to practice and explore. Curiousity about planting activities emphasizes reality and experience. It showschildren the nature of the world , inspiring and satisfying children's curiosity. 

在EYFS七大领域中其中认识世界是给幼儿提供丰富的探索机会让幼儿认识大千世界，在上海闵行园的创意区角中，种植区是幼儿非常喜欢的一个区角。种植是孩子们实践、探究的好活动，好奇和探究种植活动强调真实和体验，它为孩子们展现了大自然的本色，激发和满足幼儿的好奇心。

Moreover, Crown Dream Minhang Campus reserved 12 planting spaces outdoors at the begining of construction in order to makeplanting activities become the educational resources of children and better serve the curriculum. Therefore，we are developing thechild's vision, improving the child's observation ability and practical ability, thus promoting the overall quality of the child.

因此在初期土建时上海闵行园就在户外预留了12个班级配置的种植区空间，为了更好的让种植活动成为幼儿的教育资源，更好的为课程服务。从而开拓幼儿的视野，提高幼儿的观察能力和动手操作能力，进而促进幼儿整体素质的提高。

There are natural corners in each classroom of Crown Dream Minhang Campus as well as vegetable garden and collection areaoutdoors. It not only beatifies the environment, but also allows the  children to experience the joy of collective activities, thefullfillment of hard work and the reward of the harvest. Let's have a look through the photos.

上海闵行园教室内有自然角，户外也设有专门的小菜园和果树采摘区。美化环境的同时也能弥补幼儿活动时间和空间的局限，让幼儿亲身体验集体活动的快乐，劳动的艰辛与收获的喜悦。园里的果蔬们在悄然间渐渐长大，感谢春天的发芽和花开，才有六月的果意，看着它们的可爱模样，心情都变的明媚了。

The design of the planting area can make use of its own characteristics to provide strong support for children's physical andmental development. We encourage children to grow and manage independently, guiding them to learn and enjoy it and cultivateenvironment awareness and gain useful life experience from activities.

园所种植区的设计要能够利用自身的特点为幼儿的身心发展提供有力的支持。我们鼓励孩子自主种植和管理，引导孩子们学在其中、乐在其中，并从活动中培养生态文明意识和获得有益的生活经验。

The acquisition of these life experiences is far more important than the dull and monotonous learning of a typical classroom. Thesememories will certainly be some of the most wonderful moments in the children's lives.
