This year for the Mid-Autumn Festival, we wanted to celebrate with little Gumis!
Exclamations of wonder from the little Gumis reached our ears... Following the sound, we were instantly captivated by the scene, rooted to the spot. Before our eyes was the warm glow of the autumn sun, with a cute Jade Rabbit lounging lazily beside it. The air was filled with the fragrance of osmanthus, mooncakes, and persimmons, along with festive lanterns hanging from the tree branches, adorned with red silk and the characters for 'reunion' In this little corner, hidden away, lies the unique romance we Chinese people hold for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Click! Click! Photos captured the moment as the little Gumis, dressed in unique, festival-specific attire, arrived at the kindergarten one after another, like little fairies who had just descended to the mortal world!
With the countdown to the start of the activities, this year's dual festival celebration officially began. The little Gumis gathered in the small theater. First, we watched stories and legends about the moon:
Through the shadow puppetry, the Gumis connected with traditional Chinese culture; through the shared picture book reading, they experienced Western lifestyle aesthetics. Letting the 'moon' become a bridge connecting cultures made this Mid-Autumn Festival especially memorable with its unique 'double portion of romance.'
After the collective celebration, led by the host, our little Gumis began the Mid-Autumn Festival garden tour. Now, let's follow the camera and take a look~
