December 10, 2024, marks a special occasion for us—the “100th Day of School Celebration”! This is more than just a celebration of time; it’s a significant milestone in the growth journey of our little Gumis.
One hundred days symbolize the transformation of our children from the initial shyness and unease when they first entered kindergarten to the cheerful and confident smiles they wear today. It’s also a testament to the daily dedication and care of our devoted teachers.
Today, through a series of fun and engaging activities, we look back on the journey so far and look forward to the future, letting the light of love and growth shine brilliantly here!

庆祝开学100天的传统始于1979年，在美国加州利弗莫尔。Lynn Taylor老师发起这个活动是为了帮助孩子们理解数字100的具体概念。她用《芝麻街》里的“Count von Count”木偶把100便士变成了1美元。于是，这个想法迅速传播开来。
The tradition of celebrating the 100th day of school began in 1979 in Livermore, California. Teacher Lynn Taylor initiated this event to help children grasp the concrete concept of the number 100. She used the "Count von Count" puppet from Sesame Street to demonstrate how 100 pennies equal one dollar. This creative idea quickly gained popularity and spread widely.
The 100th day of school marks an important milestone in the learning journey of our little Gumis, signifying that more than half of the semester has been completed. During this period, the children have made progress and achievements in various areas.
To celebrate this special day, we designed numerous "100"-themed games and activities based on the concept of learning through play. For older children, these activities provide an engaging challenge, while for younger ones, the concept of counting to 100 becomes more tangible. This celebration not only helps them grasp the significance of this milestone but also deepens their understanding of the number 100.
By the end of this day, the children will not only celebrate their growth over the past 100 days but also walk away with a more meaningful grasp of the concept of "100"!
On this special day, the usually energetic Gumis and their teachers transformed into "100-year-old wise elders." With white hair, walking sticks, and kind smiles, they exuded infinite care and anticipation, filling the day with warmth and laughter. Some of the children wore unique T-shirts featuring the number "100," celebrating the milestone while showcasing their individuality and creativity. In addition, everyone brought their handmade "100"-themed creations, ranging from paintings and crafts to photographs. Each piece reflected the children’s precious memories of this wonderful journey.

Thank You for Being with Us on This Journey of Growth
Amid joyful laughter, the celebration began with Principal CoCo delivering warm and heartfelt words. She guided the little Gumis in reminiscing about the joyful moments shared by the children and teachers over the past 100 days. Every bit of growth is a cherished memory created together by the teachers and children. Principal CoCo led the children in a round of applause to express their gratitude to all the teachers. Surrounded by blessings, everyone looked forward to an even brighter future for the Gumis.
The children from each class wore their handmade costumes featuring 100-day elements and transformed into versatile little models. With confidence, they strutted down the stage, showcasing the perfect blend of innocence and creativity. Every step they took left a footprint of growth.
In these extraordinary 100 days, we have witnessed the Gumis' journey from dependence to independence, from strangers to close companions. Every hug, every word of encouragement, is the most precious treasure on their path of growth. Let us carry this love and hope forward as we continue to work together, creating even more wonderful stories for the Gumis in the days ahead.
We are grateful for the support and trust of every parent, and for the hard work and dedication of every staff member.
