The field of L (literacy) is very important in the development of EYFS. It points out that children need to be familiar with the main picture book stories, fairy tales and traditional stories, be able to repeat stories and know the characteristics of each story. In order to develop this target field and enrich children's expression ability, our kindergarten also launched a radio station punching activity, and both classes and outdoor reading corners were created. In order to further stimulate children's interest in reading, Bihai YunTian Kindergarten launched the activity of "Mystery Readers" on April 11th.
Story is a colorful kaleidoscope, and it is a wonderful microcosm of the children's world. A vivid and interesting story contains a lot of knowledge and truth. In order to strengthen the connection between home and provide a platform for children to show themselves, the kindergarten invited parents' representatives, children's representatives and teachers' representatives to participate in the "mysterious readers" activities as mysterious guests. Guess who it will be? At the beginning of the morning activity, the children entered the multi-function hall in an orderly way, full of expectations. Teacher Maria started a "music game" with the children in the audience to arouse little gumi’s enthusiasm to participate in the activity.
Next, the story is about to start! As soon as the light are turned off, a picture book story will appear on the big screen. The mysterious reader sitting behind the mysterious door tells the story of "Wild cats eat ice cream" with vivid tone and intonation, which makes the children immersive.
After the story was finished, the children all wanted to know who was telling the story. Some children say it's my teacher, while others say it's my mother. It's time to unveil the mystery of the mystery guests! "three, two, one, please come out!" When the mysterious guest came out from behind the mysterious door to meet everyone, the children clapped their hands happily and looked forward to who the person under the mask would be. When the host unveiled the mask of the mysterious guest, some children in the audience said, "this is my mother!" There is also a mysterious reader who brought us the story "We are not cold". Some children guessed it at once after listening to the story. Oh, it turned out to be our familiar teacher!
Then, behind the mysterious door, there came the lovely and immature voice of the children's version. Who's that? He vividly told the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" and “The New Scissors of Bear”, and the children in the audience listened carefully. Before unveiling the mystery mask, some children had guessed that the mystery man was a child in their class.Finally, the kindergarten presented the mysterious guests with love gifts and loyalty cards, thanking them for their efforts and dedication. This activity of "Mystery Reader" ended successfully in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
The most important thing is that the book can go far. Although the mystery reader activity has ended, the reading time machine is still going on. Bihai Yuntian Kindergarten will continue to create a warm and comfortable reading environment for children, making reading a lifelong habit for children and making good books a lifelong companion for children.
