Experiential learning has always been an essential part of our life. Especially in the childhood, it is a critical period for human social development. Children do not have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of society, nature, and everything around them. But at the same time, children have a strong interest to experience and feel the environment for adaption. Therefore, social education is an important part of the overall development of children. In September, children from Crown Dream Kindergarten Futian campus participated in experience activities of different professions.

Let us follow the camera and have a look at our little nannies and little tea masters!

On the morning of September 24, Crown Dream Kindergarten Futian campus invited Ms.Wang Hong, the iconic nanny of Shenzhen “JuZiMuYing”, to the kindergarten and carried out a profession experience activity. Under the introduction of Ms.Wang, the children had a basic understanding of what does a nanny do. In the UW area, we achieved children's interest in different professions.

During the activity, children discussed actively and shared the items they used in the bath. Children learned the steps and advice for bathing from Ms.Wang.

"Yes, I also wash my hair first. I close my eyes when washing my hair."

The bathing session for the doll is definitely children’s favorite part of the activity. Look! Children were eager to discuss how to make the baby more comfortable and safer in the bath! When the children were bathing the doll, they learned that it is not easy for parents to bathe us. Children also learned how to wash the hair of the doll will make them look more beautiful. This activity starts from the areas of PSED, CL, EAD, etc., to meet the different development needs of children. At the same time, children improved the awareness of completing tasks and the awareness of "I grow up, and I can do".

小朋友们***喜欢的是体验给娃娃洗澡环节，看！他们一个个争先恐后，都在热烈地讨论着怎么样能让小宝宝洗澡时更舒服更安全呢！小朋友们在给娃娃洗澡时，了解了妈妈爸爸给我们洗澡时的不容易，怎么给娃娃洗头发会更漂亮，活动从PSED、CL、EAD等领域出发，给孩子不同的发展需求得到满足的同时也提升了孩子们的任务意识和“我长大了，自己的事情自己做”的意识。

Parents please provide children with more opportunities for self-service at home so that children can experience a sense of success after completing tasks and gradually build self-confidence! These are some sample tasks: eating independently, putting on and taking off clothes and shoes, peeling eggshells, etc.

To broaden children’s view, we prepared a special activity for children to stimulate their understanding of the traditional culture of the motherland and their interest in tea art. Also, which presented a fundamental perception of the splendid and long-lasting tea culture of China. Crown Dream Kindergarten Futian campus invited the senior tea ceremony master who is the deputy secretary-general of the Chines Tea Culture International Exchange Association and the founder of Shenzhen Mi Tea Cultural Company - Ms. Yang Michun. Ms.Yang carried out the "I am a Little Tea Master" activity with the children from K2 and K3 classes.

The tea art class officially began within a quiet atmosphere and a strong fragrance of tea. Children were sitting around the table in an orderly manner. Ms.Yang dressed in elegant and classical clothes was particularly loved by the children when she entered the class. Our children listened attentively to Ms.Yang for the folktale of the origin of tea. In the UW area, the goal of gradually understanding the growth of things has been achieved.

The graceful Ms.Yang introduced the names of different tea sets and tea leaves to the children.

While demonstrating the tea brewing process, Ms.Yang explained and demonstrated the posture of the ancients to offer tea to the elders. Through forms of identifying, brewing, tasting, and talking, children tried the art of tea ceremony and experienced the connotation of tea culture for the first time.

Such a tea art class not only taught children the theoretical knowledge about tea, but also taught children how to brew tea and taste tea, also inherit the profound Chinese tea culture and civilized etiquette.

Under Ms.Yang’s guidance, our children learned to use tea holders, teaspoons, measuring cups, teapots, and tea cups. The moment of the boiling water was brewed, and the aroma spread to the entire classroom. Before drinking tea, watch the color and smell its fragrance. Children started to taste the tea in three sips. Test the temperature is the first, second is to sip, and taste in the third. Wow, many children have fallen in love with tea art.

Children took turns to experience being a little tea master. And children enjoyed the whole process and learned to share and cooperate more in the activities.

After learning the tea etiquette, children held their first cup of brew tea in the manner of "raising to the eyebrows" taught by Ms.Yang, and served the tea with both hands to the teacher respectfully. The warmth of the teacher-student relationship turns into a cup of love.

***让老师们感动的是，小朋友们学习了茶艺礼仪后，主动地将自己冲泡的***杯茶用阳老师教授的“举案齐眉”礼仪方式，谦谦有礼地双手向老师敬茶。浓郁地师生情瞬间化作一杯爱的清泉甘露，爱意满满。

After learning the culture of tea art, in the areas of CL, PD, PSED, UW, M, etc., we provide children a real experience of learning through play. Parents can also provide more opportunities for children to be a little tea master at home. A cup of tea filled with children’s unique love this autumn!

“Practice is the way to truth.” Experiential learning is a special form of educational activity. Experiential learning in kindergarten is an important component of education and teaching content, as well as an extension of classroom teaching. This enriches children's learning, broadens their view, increases their knowledge, and gains experience while exploring the environment.
